- Is moissanite a good choice for an engagement ring?
- Yes. At 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale, moissanite is second only to diamond and easily withstands daily wear. Its refractive index of 2.65–2.69 is higher than diamond's 2.42, so a Qureshi Jewelers engagement ring shows more fire and sparkle in person than an equivalent mined diamond, at a fraction of the price.
- What does GRA certified mean?
- GRA (Gemological Research Analysis) independently grades every stone we set for cut, clarity and colour before it ships, so the D colour and VVS1 clarity on the product page is verified, not just claimed. Your certificate ships with the piece.
- Why moissanite instead of a lab-grown diamond?
- Both are lab-created and conflict-free, but moissanite's higher refractive index gives it noticeably more brilliance and fire than diamond of comparable size, at a lower cost — which is why our engagement rings and tennis chains are priced well below diamond equivalents without compromising on fire.
- Will the 18K gold plating wear off?
- Our plating is applied at a thickness built for daily wear over solid S925 sterling silver, not hollow or brass-cored. Normal wear is covered by our lifetime craftsmanship warranty, and Qureshi Circle members receive complimentary re-plating.
- Can I get a piece resized or customized?
- Yes. Contact client care with your order number for resizing — complimentary for Gold Circle members and above — and we can discuss custom requests such as alternate metal finishes or stone sizes.
